Skiing in the heart of the amadé skiing network

Guesthouse Pichlgut is located right in the centre of the largest skiing network in Austria. This means that you can use more than 860 kilometres of perfectly groomed pistes with only one ski pass. You can ski in a different skiing area every day and only a few minutes away by car is the 4-mountain skiing complex Reiteralm-Schladming, Flachau or Zauchensee. Obertauern and the  Dachstein Glacier are also very close by.  Indeed "why search every low and high, when the skiing complex Radstadt-Altenmarkt could not be closer by"?







There's also a great range of trails for cross-country skiers at the Pichlgut. Join one of the nearby trails and enjoy the winter wonderland of deep deep snow.

We would be delighted to arrange a horse drawn sleigh ride or tobogganing excursion. The toboganning slope "Kehmadhöhe" is 6 km long and a true tobogganing experience for the whole family. In the evening, the floodlit tobogganing slope is even more fun.

Activities at the Pichlgut

Curling	Our in-house curling lane with curling stones for adults and children is available for guests at all times. The floodlit tournaments are particularly popular. It gets quire serious and the groups vie for the next turn at the "Hasei". Good against the cold is a Glühwein mulled wine which we are happy to provide on request.
Schnapps tasting	In the new Edelbrand brandy distillery, your host Helmut Müller introduces you to the world of these brandies and liqueurs. As a trained Edelbrand Sommelier, he explains the distilling process and offers tastings. In the adjoining showroom you can buy some of these delicacies to take home with you.
